Today’s message from Collective Consciousness asks us to take a good, honest look at our lives and spot what is no longer working for us. This is hardly an easy chore. Oftentimes, we are blind to what we don’t want to see – and so we can’t see exactly what it is that we’re holding onto and need to let go. It may be helpful for you to grab a pen and start writing down in a journal, every person, pet, circumstance, and item that is in your life experience right now. And for each person, pet, circumstance and item listed, make notes. Is this holding you back? Are you holding on? Are you attached? But don’t stop there. Letting go of what no longer serves you includes the beliefs you have, and emotions attached to beliefs formed by experiences you use to identify yourself.
For example, you may want to make a change to your career and pursue your passion. Do you trust that you can do this? Is there any fear or anxiety that comes up? Do you tell yourself you wish you could do it but that, realistically, you can’t? Start examining these fears and the beliefs behind them. Think about where you want to go, what you want to do, who you want to be – get this very clear in your mind. And then ask yourself, what is it that’s holding me back from becoming this now? Write down what comes up. “No one will want my help.” “I’m not good enough.” “I’ll fail miserably.” What’s behind all these beliefs? What’s your bigger fear? If these beliefs come up for you, then you’ve got an underlying fear of rejection. Start accepting yourself unconditionally, just as you are, and go back in time, in your mind, to your younger self who first started struggling with rejection, and tell that younger version of you that you are good enough. That failure isn’t really failure – it’s learning. That you want your help, and that others do too. Start loving yourself unconditionally. Let Love heal the heart that rejection broke.
Once you let go of what no longer serves you, and you’ve set your intent for what you want to do, where you want to go, who you want to be, and imagined in full, bright, colorful detail, that life you wish to live, it’s time to let it go and go with the flow. In other words, don’t try to control every aspect of its making. Give it to your Higher mind, and to your guides, who faithfully make connections with the Higher Selves of all others involved in making your dreams come true. Go out and play while this happens. Go do wonderful things for others. Be in life’s flow while knowing that all arrangements are being made for you at levels of consciousness beyond your conscious control. No need to paddle against the current. Just relax and let the current take you to where your creation awaits you. Spend some time in study – learn about others who created lives similar to what you want. Learn all about them – how they thought, how they felt, what they did. Let their experience and wisdom inspire you.
Remember: find what’s holding you back. Let it go. Go with the flow. In other words… simply let go and let God.
